Privacy Policy
How JPGRL handles information on this site.
Scope
This Privacy Policy describes how JPGRL handles information on this site. JPGRL is an editorial publication. It does not operate as a marketplace.
We do not operate user accounts, comments, payments, subscriptions, or a newsletter backend on this MVP.
Information we process
Server logs may include IP address, browser type, date and time, and requested URL. We use these logs to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the site.
When an editorial mailbox is published on the Contact page, we will process correspondence sent there in order to reply.
Cookies
After you answer Yes on the 18+ access notice, JPGRL sets an HttpOnly cookie named jpgrl_age_declared with the value true. It stores that declaration so the notice is not repeated while the cookie remains valid (up to one year). Selecting No does not set a lasting cookie; a later visit shows the notice again. The cookie contains no name, email, or other personal information.
This cookie records a self-declaration. It is not an identity check and does not verify age against government ID, payment data, or a third-party age-assurance service.
We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics (cookie-less) to understand page views. We do not use it to identify individuals or to serve ads. Editorial content is not sent to analytics beyond ordinary page URLs and referrers.
If advertising or other cookies are added later, this policy will be updated before they are switched on.
Retention and security
Server logs are retained only as long as needed for operation and security, then discarded or rotated according to hosting practice.
We take reasonable technical measures appropriate to this service (including HTTPS where configured). No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.
Contact
Privacy questions will be accepted at the editorial address once it is published on the Contact page. Until then, that mailbox is not open.
