Kanto
Saitama
Bedroom-prefecture nightlife: Omiya, Kawaguchi, and other Tokyo-orbit stations.
Saitama’s entertainment geography is shaped by Tokyo adjacency. Omiya and Kawaguchi (including historically storied Nishikawaguchi talk) appear often in Kanto nightlife speech as station-city alternatives to the 23 wards. The pattern is metropolitan overflow: dense, practical, less romanticized than Shinjuku or Susukino in national storytelling. Nishikawaguchi and Omiya are among the Tokyo-orbit names that soapland and wider fuzoku speech treat as districts in their own right — metropolitan overflow with proper nouns.
